Thermally actuated shut-off device

A thermally actuated shut-off device (TAE) is a fire protection fitting that can prevent the spread and growth of a fire and prevent an explosion in the event of external fire exposure.

The thermally triggering shut-off device responds to the external effect of heat on a pipeline or a device at about 100 °C.
